After more than fifteen years as a professional harpist, I have gained a varied and unique experience of both performing and teaching, as well as recording, writing and various other areas of the music industry.

I performed regularly through my school years and while studying for my degree, during which time I won several awards and competitions for my performance skills. 

​

After graduating from UEA I set up my own private teaching practice and continued to perform at weddings, functions, orchestral concerts and recitals.

 

I now play for dozens of weddings every year, and my public appearances include solo and chamber recitals, and concerts with various groups and orchestras. I was absolutely thrilled last year to be awarded the title of 'Best Ceremony Act, East of England' in the Event Entertainment Awards, organised by Book Entertainment.

I am a pop and film music specialist so have an extensive repertoire in these genres, although I do still play many popular classics and traditional pieces as well. 

​

I currently also teach privately at my home near Market Harborough. I am fully DBS checked and regularly undertake child protection training and other training courses to keep my qualifications current.
